How we separate recommendations from revenue
Tool facts, plan information and evidence live in the recommendation data layer. Affiliate-program terms and affiliate URLs live separately. The recommendation engine is not allowed to use commission rate, cookie duration, approval status or expected revenue as an input.
What a sponsored link looks like
Commercial outbound links are marked in the HTML with rel="sponsored nofollow". If an affiliate tracking URL has not yet been configured, our code falls back to the vendor's normal website URL rather than breaking the page.
We may recommend products that do not pay us
Yes. If the best architecture contains a tool with no qualifying affiliate program, it can still be the primary recommendation. That is necessary for the site to function as a decision engine rather than an affiliate directory.
